Arun Valley trekking is trekking in remote area of Nepal which is not frequently visited by tourists. The trek is between the two Mountains-Everest and Makalu where we can experience unique culture and variety of natural flora and fauna. Arun valley is very rich in its Sherpa, Rai and Limbu cultures which is not marked by modern development.

Arun Valley Trekking follows the trail along Arun Riverside after we start trekking from Tumlingtar. The trail reaches to Makalu Base Camp and to Everest Base Camp following Makalu Barun National Park’s wilderness. Crossing the river time and again and walking through wilderness is challenging and adventurous. The area is also important for different endangered animals preserved in the National Park. The astonishing views of Mt. Makalu and Mt. Everest including hundreds of other peaks are impressive throughout the trek. Trekking trail crosses Barun La and passes through Hongu and Hinko Valleys. The unspoiled culture of Limbu, Sherpa and Rai is very interesting to experience in the valley. The villages like Sedua, Num, Gai kharka and many other settlements exploration enriches the knowledge about Nepal. Arun valley is rich in culture, bio-diversity and landscape too.

Arun Valley Trekking is considerably low altitude trek in Arun Valley. Arun River flows through the valley which is one of the important rivers in Eastern Nepal. The valley is covered with dense forests in slope landscape. Different ethnic groups and tribal communities are mutually residing which can be interesting factor to explore the valley.
