Ganesh Himal Rupina La Pass Trekking is trekking through beautiful wilderness region in Manaslu Himal and Ganesh Himal Range along Gorkha district. Ganesh Himal is seen from Kathmandu valley which lies in the north-west of the Kathmandu and trekking crosses through Rupina La Pass. The trekking offers gigantic views of Ganesh Himal, Lamjung Himal, Himalchuli, Shringi Himal, Annapurna range, Manaslu range, and Langtang range and many other mountains in front of the eyes. Rupina La Pass Trekking from Ganesh Himal Base Camp is challenging and exciting experience in this wilderness area.

Ganesh Himal Rupina La Pass Trekking leads through Gorkha which is not crowded by trekkers. The opportunities to explore various ethnic communities and hidden mysteries of the nature are inspiring while trekking. Ganesh Himal Rupina La Pass Trekking is remote wilderness region trekking to the border of Tibet with panoramic view of Ganesh Himal ranges. The trail is rich for the picturesque view of natural vegetation, green valleys, meadows and picturesque landscape. Different rare wildlife and birds can be seen during the trek. The region is supposed habitat of mysterious snow-man ‘Yeti’.

Ganesh Himal Rupina La Pass trekking trail is very challenging trekking trail. It provides the opportunity to explore culture of Sherpas and Bhotias (Tibetan).  Exploration of untouched culture and experiencing their hospitality is unique experience for the visitors. It is attractive trail for the trekkers with full of adventures. The superb sceneries of snow-capped mountains and the glaciers keep the trekkers move their heads back to see them.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to the country of Mt. Everest! As you arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive you and transfer to the hotel which you have booked in Kathmandu. Hotel staffs will complete check in and manage for your accommodation. We organize welcome dinner in the hotel in the evening with our team.

Day 02: Kathmandu exploration and preparing for trek
On this day, there will be a guided tour to the famous cultural and historical sites of Kathmandu including UNESCO enlisted world heritage sites. In the afternoon, you should involve pre- trip discussion with your guide for well preparation of the trip. You will have dinner in the hotel in the evening. You can experience night life in Thamel too.

Day 03: Drive to Arughat (1510m.)
On this day, we will drive you to Arughat. We drive enjoying picturesque views of natural landscape and vegetation along the terraced fields and river valleys. The views of green hills and forests are pleasantly beautiful. You have time in the evening to explore the surrounding area. We stay overnight in Arughat.

Day 04: Trek to Soti Khola (730m.) 7 hrs.
On this day, we trek to Soti khola from Arughat. The path is pleasant with some uphill and downhill trek. We walk along the Budhi Gandaki River bank on a elevated path enjoying the picturesque views of scenarios. We stay overnight in Soti Khola.

Day 05: Trek to Machha Khola (930m.) 6hrs.
This day trekking trail is also pleasant on a elevated path. Trekking continues along the river bank. We pass through some settlements, terraced fields and scenic views of green hills. The trekking is full of picturesque views with pleasant until we reach Machha Khola. We stay overnight in Machha Khola.

Day 06: Trek to Jagat (1370m.) 6hrs.
We trek continue elevated path in beginning hours and our trekking ascends to uphill and descends to reach Jagat. The trekking is pleasant with the views of terraced fields, green hills and villages. You can explore some villages and experience their life style while we are following the trail. We stay overnight in Jagat.

Day 07: Trek to Gomna 7 hrs.
On this day, we trek to Gomna from Jagat. We follow gentle uphill to Surtibas and continue to more difficult climb. The views of Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal and many other peaks are impressive while trekking. We reach Gomna and stay overnight there.

Day 08: Trek to Jarang  7hrs.
This day trekking trail leads towards Jarang through dense forest of rhododendron in a ascending uphill. You may see different wild animals and birds along the way. The panoramic views of mountains and green hills are very attractive throughout the day. We reach at Jarang and stay overnight.

Day 09: Trek to Rupina La Phedi (4643m.) 7 hrs.
Trekking on this day is gentle ascend to the uphill. We cross Rupina La Pass at 4720m and enjoy the views of gigantic mountains and peaks including Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal and Boudha Himal. We descend down to Phedi of Rupina La and stay overnight there.

Day 10: Trek to Bhedi Odar (5150m.) 6hrs.
On this day, we continue trekking to Rupina La Bhanjyang and descend down to Bhedi Odar. From Bhanjyang the panoramic views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Boudha, Shringi Himal, and Himal Chuli can be captured beautifully. We stay overnight in Bhedi Odar.

Day 11: Trek to Bhedi Kharka (5225m.) 7hrs.
This day’s trek is to Bhedi Kharka following the sloppy trail in beginning hours and continues uphill through forests of rhododendron. You can enjoy panoramic views of mountains and green hills while walking through the way. Bhedi Kharka is place where sheep are brought to graze. We stay overnight in Bhedi Kharka.

Day 12: Trek to Dudh Pokhari (5390m.) 6hrs
On this day, we follow the trail to Dudh Pokhari through forests of Bamboo. The area is pilgrimage area from where you can see the wonderful views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Annapurna massif and many other peaks. Thousands of pilgrims visit this site as holy trek throughout the year. We stay overnight in Dudh Pokhari area.

Day 13: Trek to Ningalagahari (4590m.) 7hrs.
We trek descending gradually on this day to reach Ningalagahari. The trail goes through forests of rhododendron, bamboo, pine etc. The area is surrounded by forests and green hills which are picturesque to observe. We stay overnight in Ningalagahari.

Day 14: Trek to Chyadi Danda (3600m.) 6 hrs,
On this day, we trek descending downhill to reach Chyadi Danda. The area is surrounded by forests and hills. The views of the green hills and surrounding are pleasant while trekking down to Chyadi Danda ridge. We stay overnight in Chyadi Danda.

Day 15: Trek to Tonje (1850m.) 7hrs.
Our trekking continues through the trail with uphill and downhill. The trail passes forests and reaches Tonje village. Gurung Tribal culture can be explored in the village. We trek enjoying natural beauty along the way and in the evening you can enjoy cultural show in the village. We stay overnight in Tonje.

Day 16: Trek to Duwar (975m.) 6hrs.
On this day, we trek passing through some village from tonje. The trail goes along the riverbank and reaches Duwar. The village is bigger than Tonje where you can explore local culture of the ethnic people. We stay overnight in Duwar.

Day 17: Trek to Besisahar and Drive Back to Kathmandu
On this day, we trek to Besisahar. It is a short trek of about 2 hours and we drive back to Kathmandu from there. As you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to Hotel where you may have leisure time or will catch last moments for shopping in markets. You stay in a hotel.

Day 18:  Rest in Kathmandu
On this day, you are free to explore Kathmandu city. You can visit important sites of your interest and wander around the city. Best way is to get a guide and explore Kathmandu. In the evening, we will have celebration dinner with trekking team. Spend night in a hotel.

Day 19: Farewell Day
On the last day, we bid goodbye to the guest as package tour in Nepal comes to the end for this time. If you have time enough, you can have sightseeing and shopping in the markets. Before 3 hours of scheduled flight, our representative will take you to the TIA. On your way home, you will have plenty of time to plan your next tour with recollection of experiences.

Accommodations we provide

We provide all accommodations in local tea house lodges on twin sharing basis.  You will have standard tea houses/lodges/hotels in mountain which are common rooms with sharing washing and bathroom.  The lodges we choose is on standard of service and good location.  During the trip in Nepal, we will provide 2 nights hotel in Kathmandu.(Hotel standard is required )  And during your trekking,  If you would like to have private single room, then you can request by paying single supplement.
