Simikot Limi Valley Trek

Ganesh Himal Rupinala Pass Trekking

Simikot Limi Valley Trek is trekking in the north-west region of Nepal. The valley trek is rich for its picturesque views, lifestyle, tradition, language, ethnicity, culture etc. Simikot Limi Valley Trek takes to the starting point of the longest river of Nepal named (Humla) Karnali. Trekking in this region has its finest beauty with variety of forests, wildlife and birds. The region is full of flora and fauna including the rare animals and birds like black bear, barking deer, musk deer, blue sheep, wild yak, wild horse, wolf, marmot, hare and occasionally snow leopard too.

The valley is so remote that there are no any facilities of modern world. People of the valley are backward due to the lack of awareness and poverty. Being the district headquarters of Jumla district, the valley is still remote due to its geographical remoteness. Simikot Limi Valley Trek provides the magnificent view of mountains like Api Himal, Saipal Himal, Byas Rishi Himal, Gorkha Himal, Kanjiroba Himal, Kailash Himal etc. Trekking in Limi Valley is also an ample opportunity of impressive views of Manasarovar Lake and hundreds of rivers and streams.

Simikot Limi Valley Trek offers the finest scenery throughout the journey. The villages in the valley named Gombayok and Haljee are mostly depending upon the livestock. The people’s daily activity is to graze animals in the plateaus. Few of them are engaged in trade of local products too. The valley is cultivated by Tibetan origin people who have their own language, tradition and culture.
