Ghale Gaun Trek
Ghale Gaun trek/Tour lies in Annapurna Circuit Route. Drive 7, hour from Kathmandu to Khudi.The altitude of 2,095m from the sea level. Ghale gaun trek is very famous cultural village for its typical local hospitality, friendly Gurung people and natural beauty. A trek to Ghale Gaun is rewarding experience to real Nepali village where every household is an open home for visitors. This cultural village is not just famous for hospitality but also offers great Himalayan scenery and local tradition and artifact. The Ghale Gaun is also famous for honey hunting and handmade handicrafts. The trek you can make short or bit longer as your desire.

Outline Itinerary.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, then drive to Ghale Gaun by Jeep
Day 03: Visit village, Tea Garden and Gurung Museum at Ghale Gaun
Day 04: Farewell programmed, Hike to Ghanapokhara, enjoy the views. Back to Khudi.
Day 05: Khudi to Kathmandu by Bus.
Day 06: Departure from Nepal.

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU.
Arrive at Katmandu airport. We will met you airport and transfer to hotel and a short brief about the trekking and walk around Thamel.
DAY 03: DRIVE KATHMANDU - BESI SAHAR (820m) & HIKE TO KHUDI (790m)
In the morning after breakfast, you will be driven on a private tourist vehicle to Besi Sahar (headquarter of Lamjung district), which is located 180 km northwest from the capital city Kathmandu. The drive will tentatively take around six hours. On the way you can enjoy beautiful scenic hills, forest, rivers, local villages and towns. After reaching Besi Shahar, you will take a rest for a while and then begin the trek to Khudi.
DAY 04: TREK TO GHALE GAUN (2,016m)
Today after breakfast, you will walk through the trail that follows the path along the bank of Khudi River passing waterfalls and several villages. Further 4 – 5 hours of walking will take you to Ghale Gaun from where you can get picturesque views of Annapurna, Manaslu and other Himalaya range. It is also the best spot for viewing sunrise and sunset.
DAY 05: EXPLORE GHALE GAUN (2,016m)
After breakfast you will hike around the Ghale gaun. You will find that most of the houses are built in same style with uniquely carved windows. You can also pay a visit to Buddhist Gompa in the village. In the evening you can enjoy Nepalese cultural programs.
DAY 06: HIKE TO GHANAPOKHARA (1,800m)
From Ghale Gaun the trekking trail passes through the rhododendron forest with chirping melody of birds and hissing waterfalls and hill side farm terraces finally taking you to the traditional village of Ghanapokhara. This village is mostly inhabitated by Ghales.
DAY 07: HIKE TO BAGLUNGPANI (1,595m)
Leaving Ghanapokhara, the trail crosses the Midim River via suspension bridge. You will then have to climb Khumre Danda before descending to Pasgaun. On the way you can visit Buddhist Gompa.
DAY 08: HIKE TO LAXMI BAZAAR (1,300m)
Today the trail follows the steep descending path to Rudi stream by crossing the suspension bridge. On the way you can have spectacular views of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalaya range.
DAY 09: TREK TO BEGNAS LAKE (884M) AND DRIVE TO POKHARA
Continuing the journey, today you will trek downhill to Begnas Lake, you will enjoy an hour boating and then catch the transfer to Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will check in into the hotel and can enjoy rest of the time exploring the lakeside.
DAY 11: FLY/DRIVE POKHARA - KATHMANDU
Today after breakfast, you will either take a flight to Kathmandu or will be driven to Kathmandu via tourist vehicle.
DAY 12: DEPART KATHMANDU.
We will drop to airport as per your time. Good bye from Nepal.
